Southland Regional World Skills Competion Finals

 

 

The Southland regional finals of the 2008 World Skills Competition is to be held on Saturday 15 March at the Southern Institute of Technology Forth Street. 

 

Competition categories include:  Automotive, Electrical, Fitting, Plumbing and Welding.

 

A prize package is offered for each competition category along with the opportunity to compete in the New Zealand National Finals. 

 

Winners of the 2006 National Finals, known as the Tool Blacks, went off to compete in the International Competition in Japan in November here for more.
