Construction Project

 

The Construction project required the competitors to make, from drawings, a slatted seat which was then attached to the brick bases that were being made by the masonry competitors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First placed construction apprentice Andrew Scott (Waiuku College) marking out the spaces between the seat slats.

Second placed Edward White (Kings High School) cutting out the half lap joint.

Third placed Brent Gallagher (Catlins Area School) cutting out the mortice joints in the end seat trim.
